In short, health is a state of being, whereas wellness is the state of living a healthy lifestyle. Health refers to physical, mental, and social well-being; wellness aims to enhance well-being.

Life can be filled with stresses, so much so that we can - and should - ask ourselves, Can stress affect health? Of course. It can affect our physical, mental, and social well-being.

But can stress affect wellness? Yes, but only to a point, in that it can affect your perspective or dampen your energy, negatively influencing your commitment to self-care and hence not giving you your best shot at achieving your fullest potential.

The main difference between health and wellness, is that wellness is always a matter of choice.
Healthy Weight loss isn't just about "diets" or "programs". It 's about an ongoing lifestyle that includes long term changes in daily eating and exercise habits. Once you've achieved a health weight, rely on healthy eating and physical activity to help you keep the weight off over long term.
